About Sydney Vet Ultrasound
Dr Chris Greenwell BVSc MANZCVS
Chris is a small animal veterinarian with over 20 years of clinical experience. He first started using ultrasound to aid in the diagnosis of more complicated medical cases over 15 years ago, & has been honing his skills ever since.
He completed a residency in small animal medicine at Sydney’s SASH vet hospital in North Ryde, where he was one of the primary ultrasonographers during the 8 years he worked there.
Prior to establishing Sydney Vet ultrasound in 2024, for 4 years, he worked solely as a mobile small animal ultrasonographer for the Veterinary Specialists of Sydney (VSOS) hospital in Miranda, providing a mobile ultrasound service to the veterinary hospitals of Sydney. In this position, he performed approximately 2000 ultrasounds per year, making him one of the most experienced veterinary ultrasonographers in Sydney.
Our Service
Sydney Vet Ultrasound gives general practice/primary accession veterinary hospitals & clinics in Sydney access to a thorough, comprehensive ultrasound service in their own hospital.
We perform complete abdominal ultrasounds, echocardiography, thoracic ultrasonography, also ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration (FNA).
